Stop motion and 2D animator | Illustrator

I am a graduate from Columbia College Chicago with a Bachelor of Arts in Traditional Animation with a focus in stop motion. During my time at Columbia, I also explored different areas of art such as illustration, sculpting and painting. I enjoy creating my own stories and characters and making them come to life through different kinds of mediums. I love to use markers, colored pencils and oil pastels when it comes to drawing. I especially love sculpting my own puppets for my stop motion animation and building the sets for it. It feels like I am creating a small new world of my own. Below are some pictures of my art. An inspiration of mine has always been Tim Burton and films such as My Life as a Zucchini, Coraline, and Spirited Away.
